Royal Haskoning has a world class track record in the field of shipyard and dry dock engineering. The maritime division of Royal Haskoning incorporates the experience and expertise of Posford Duvivier and also of T.F. Burns and Partners who joined Posford Duvivier in 1992, and in addition the experience of the Dutch firm of DeWeger.
This track record stretches back to the late 1940’s and has continued through to the present with the largest current Royal Haskoning shipyard schemes being two projects in Mumbai, India, and a new shipyard for Duqm in Oman.
All aspects of shipyard design have been covered including dry docks, dock gates, shiplifts, slipways and hauling-in systems, ship building bays, plate and assembly shops and workshops, roads, infrastructure and mechanical and electrical services.
