Shipyards

The Shipyard staff of Royal Haskoning are actively and continuously engaged in the provision of specialist services related to shipyards for ship repair and ship building, offshore fabrication facilities and other related maritime works.

These services include feasibility studies, economic evaluations and planning of maritime facilities, and the design of :

• dry docks

• floating dock installations

• berths and jetties for ship repairing and outfitting

• infrastructure facilities including crane gantries, pumphouses, substations, provision of services, covered launchways, roads, drainage etc

• dock main and intermediate gates, lock gates and gates for impounded basins

• mooring and berthing dolphins

• naval repair and building facilities

• shiplifts and slipways

• specialist repair facilities including hauling-in equipment, dock arms, ships blocking systems, shot and water blasting

• offshore module supports for fabrication and weighing, offshore load-out quays for transfer by skidding or wheeled transporters

• barge mooring and fendering
